From 1978 to 1993, Fashion Moda was a strong voice in the New York art world.

From the South Bronx, at 2803 Third Avenue near 147th Street, Fashion Moda helped redefine art and spotlighted graf artists.

The NYSCA and NEA grants didn't hurt. Local South Bronx writers, artists, and performance artists had a venue unlike any other, in which to exhibit their works.
